Android Instructions
Download the CARSCANNER or TORQUE app before starting.
BLUETOOTH CONNECTION WITH MOBILE PHONE
Once the vehicle's OBDII port has been located and the ELM327 connected, it is necessary to pair the mobile phone with the device via Bluetooth.
Search for nearby Bluetooth devices and select the new device named OBDII. Select it, and the password to pair it is either 1234 or 0000. Once this is done, the device will appear in Paired.
INSTALL THE APPLICATION
We recommend the application called Torque or Torque Lite. The difference between them is that the Lite version is free, while the other one is paid, as it has expanded functionalities.
You can download it from the Play Store.
APPLICATION CONFIGURATION
Make sure we have Bluetooth turned on and the ELM327 device called OBDII paired on our mobile phone and open the Torque application.
It pairs automatically, but if it doesn't, open the Torque app and tap the gear icon, then go to Settings > OBD2 Adapter Options > Choose Bluetooth Device. Select the device named OBDII, return to the main screen, and wait for the connection to be established.
Once the device is recognized and paired with the mobile phone, you will see a second light illuminate on the ELM327. This indicates that the connection has been successfully established.
USING THE APPLICATION
Once we have followed all the previous steps correctly, a message will appear at the top where we will see "ECU OK" which means that we have linked our mobile phone through the ELM327 device linked to the control unit of our vehicle.
From this moment on you can use the app to check the vehicle's status and monitor its indicators.
