For those who don't want to complicate themselves with the mobile to know what's happening with the car.

There are scanners that work with mobile apps. They are good. But they are not for everyone.

If you prefer to plug in the tool and read the result directly on the screen, without installing anything, without opening apps, without Bluetooth taking time to connect — the MS309 is exactly that.

The integrated LCD screen displays the error code and its description in Spanish. The scanner is powered directly from the car's connector. You don't need batteries, you don't need your mobile phone, you don't need to do anything other than plug it in.

What you can do with it:

Read the engine error codes — both generic and manufacturer-specific — directly on the screen, in English.
Clear the codes and reset the check engine light once the problem is resolved.
View the "freeze frame" data: the car's status exactly at the moment the failure occurred.
Check the vehicle's VIN number.

What you CANNOT do:

Does not detect airbag or ABS codes. Does not display real-time parameters like Bluetooth models. Not compatible with trucks, tractors, hybrids, or electric vehicles.

How to use it - no apps, no settings

Locate the OBD2 connector under the car's steering wheel, usually on the left.
Connect the MS309 cable to the port. The screen turns on by itself — the car powers it.
Turn the car to the "on" position (key turned, engine off).
Navigate with the scanner buttons and select the language if it's not in Spanish by default.
Select "Read codes." The screen displays the code and its description.
If you want to clear the code after resolving the issue, select "Clear codes."

Do I need the mobile to use it?

No. The MS309 works completely autonomously — it has its own screen and does not require any mobile, app, or bluetooth. You plug it in and read.

Do you need batteries?
