Does it work with my type of headlight?

For polishing, you can use the kit manually or with a drill (not included). Both methods work — the drill is simply faster.

DESCRIPTION EXTENDED

Why yellow headlights are a real problem - and why you can fix it yourself

Polycarbonate headlights yellow over time due to exposure to the sun, humidity, and dirt. It happens to all cars. And when it does, there are two options: take it to the shop and pay between €60 and €100, or restore it at home in 20 minutes.

The process is simpler than it seems: progressive sanding to remove the damaged layer, polishing to restore transparency, and UV protector to make the result last. With the complete Allstric kit, you have everything you need to do it from start to finish without missing anything.

The before/after is instantly visible.

  • Clean the lighthouse with soap and water. Dry it well.
  • Protect the bodywork around the headlight with the adhesive tape included.
  • Start with the moistened P800 sandpaper. Sand in cross-moving (horizontal + vertical) movements until the headlight has a uniform matte finish.
  • Repeat with finer grain sandpapers: P1200, P2000, P3000. The lighthouse must become increasingly soft.
  • Apply the polishing compound with the foam. Rub in circular motions until transparency is restored.
  • Apply the UV protector with cotton. Let dry according to the bottle instructions.
  • Remove the tape. The result is instantly visible.

Why it matters to fix it:

  • Reduction of night visibility of up to 70% with opaque headlights.
  • Possible defect in the ITV — the regulation requires the headlights to illuminate correctly.
  • Car devaluation if you want to sell it.

  • Drill support disc (optional)
  • Foam and polishing compound

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a drill to use it?

No. The kit works perfectly by hand. The drill with the included support disc simply makes the process faster - if you don't have a drill, the result is the same.

How long does the result last?

With the UV protector applied correctly, between 1 and 2 years depending on the exposure to the sun. The kit has sufficient material to repeat the treatment when necessary.

Does it work on heavily damaged headlights?

The more damaged the headlight, the longer the initial sanding takes — but the end result is the same. If the headlight has cracks or is physically broken, polishing cannot

Can it damage the bodywork?

Not if you use the included masking tape to cover the paint around the headlight.

What types of headlights does it work for?

Polycarbonate headlights - practically all modern cars. Also in rear lights, fog lights and turn signals made of the same material.
